Vodafone offer the RIM’s latest smartphone
The Blackberry revolution is sweeping through the planet and Vodafone is the latest to join the bandwagon to offer the RIM’s latest smartphone, the BlackBerry Torch 9800. It is going to be the first RIM to be run on the BlackBerry 6 operating system with added features like touchscreen as well as a full hardware QWERTY keyboard, a 5 megapixel camera, WiFi, and much more. The price and when it is going to be made available is not clear but it won’t be long before it will hit the market.

The AT&T and RIL Event on Tuesday
An event is going to be hosted by the AT&T and RIL on Tuesday and invitations have been sent to many including the media. It is most probably the launch of the OS 6.0 as well as the BlackBerry 9800. The later is a device rumored to have a slider QWERTY form factor. All are keeping their finger crossed for Next Tuesday.

Cincinnati Bell entering new frontiers
Cincinnati Bell is going to lead the cutting edge research in Motion’s BlackBerry Pearl 3G Smartphone. The Pearl 3G is said to be the smallest BlackBerry to date but has almost all the features which are there in a normal BlackBerry phones with some added features like 3G connectivity, a 3.2-megapixel camera, GPS, WiFi, and Bluetooth technology. With a price tag of $99.99 it comes with a 2 years’ service agreement and some rebates.

New releases from online retailer Mobilecity Online
Well known online retailer Mobilecity Online has on it display the yet to be announced AT&T BlackBerry 9800 slider smartphone for presale and also features the images of the device. With a no-contract price of $599.99 on the advertisement which incidentally does not give the shipping date or period. It is most probably to be released on Tuesday during the RIM event to which the media has been invited.
